ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” Building in G-9 on Monday along with a delegation from Azerbaijan and relevant officers. During the visit, Chairman CDA and the Azerbaijani delegation reviewed the model of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” in detail.
While briefing on the progress of the construction activities of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” the relevant officers informed that the center is being established in Islamabad with the cooperation of Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. The primary objective of establishing the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” is to ensure the provision of various services and facilities to citizens under one roof.
The briefing highlighted that work is being carried out 24/7 to complete the construction and repair work of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” building, and the finishing and renovation work will be completed soon. It was further informed that latest technology will be utilized to develop the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” according to modern standards.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that timely completion of the project must be ensured alongside maintaining high quality. He said that the establishment of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” will enable the citizens of Islamabad to access services and facilities from multiple departments at one place. Chairman CDA said that the establishment of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” will contribute to the improvement of e-governance and service delivery by the Government of Pakistan.
Azerbaijan delegation said that they are providing full cooperation and technical assistance for the construction and operationalization of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz”.
Chairman CDA said that this project will be a significant milestone in further strengthening relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan as well as in improving service delivery. He said that providing quality facilities and services to the citizens, along with the development of the capital city Islamabad, is our top priority. Concluding the meeting, Chairman CDA also reiterated the commitment to fully benefit from Azerbaijan’s technical capabilities, expertise and experience.
