Cosplay, gaming, more: Geek Haven’s Karachi Anime, Comic Con is fan’s paradise

Fans of comic books, anime, film, science fiction, and fantasy genres gathered at the Arts Council in Karachi on Sunday to celebrate the fifth edition of the Karachi Anime and Comic Con, organized by Geek Haven.

There were a variety of activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages at the event, which was a celebration of Pakistani geek culture.

Comic cons are much more than just a chance to dress up, contrary to popular belief. All aspects of geek culture were celebrated at the fifth Karachi Anime and Comic Con, which included screenings, panels, gaming, a marketplace, tournaments, an art competition, trivia, performances, and food.

A variety of well-known characters from movies and television shows were on display for visitors, including Harley Quinn, Ken Kaneki, Chainsaw Man characters, Peter Pan, Wednesday Addams, her mother Morticia, and her sidekick Thing.

Adults and children alike were able to express themselves and have fun in a secure and inclusive setting at the event.

A Puffball screening, a Q&A session with Arafat Mazhar, a Tekken 7 tournament, a Beyblade segment, a hot takes segment, a dance performance by Anarchy, and a cosplay walk were all part of the event.

Geek Haven’s commitment to “revitalizing the spirit and reawakening love for anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, and the Korean and Japanese culture” was demonstrated by these activities, which offered something for everyone.

The fifth Karachi Anime and Comic Con hosted by Geek Haven was a resounding success and a celebration of Pakistani geek culture.

It was a must-attend event for fans of the comic book, anime, film, science fiction, and fantasy genres because the event provided a safe and inclusive environment for fans to come together and enjoy their shared interests.
