Islamabad: A delegation of lawyers from District Bar Association Mirpur (DBAM) called on President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry here today. Led by President District Bar Association Chaudhry Shakeel Zaman Advocate, the delegation was comprised of representatives from lawyer’s community including Sardar Muhammad Shakeel Khan Advocate the vice president DBAM, the DBAM secretary general Muhammad Bashir Tabasim Advocate, Joint Secretary Muhammad Farqan Ali Advocate, Hasan Aslam Jaral Advocate, Raja Daniyal Khadim Advocate and Aqsa Younis Advocate and others.
On this occasion, the DBAM delegates invited the President to address a function as the chief guest being organized by Bar Association in Mirpur on 18 March. Barrister Chaudhry would leave for Kotli next day (19 March) to address a function being organized by Kotli District Bar Association.
Furthermore, the AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry expressed his grief and sorrow over the death of prominent journalist Muhammad Amin Butt. Barrister Chaudhry, while paying homage to the deceased journalist for his journalistic services prayed to Allah the almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
