Dengue threat: CDA sent four nursery workers to jail

Islamabad On the directives of Chairman Capital Development Authority(CDA), Noor Alam Mengal, the authority took action in connection with Dengue against nurseries in H/9-3 sector of the federal capital.
During the operation Senior Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif sent four accused individuals to Adiyala Jail.
Sardar Muhammad Asif, Senior Special Magistrate CDA/IMCI, sent four individuals including Tariq Waseem, Muhammad Nasim, Jan Muhammad and Habib-ur-Rehman to Adiyala Jail for violating the directives of the Directorate of Health Services and not taking precautions.
According to details, on Thursday, on the instructions of Chairman CDA, Noor Alam Mengal,
Anti-Malaria Inspector, DHHS, CDA, conducted an operation against nurseries in Sector H-9/3 area. During the operation, stagnant water, tires, tanks built in the ground, and water drums were checked, revealing the breeding grounds (larvae) of the deadly and life-threatening dengue disease.
On the occasion Senior Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif said that the people should not allow water to accumulate in their homes, workplaces, and streets in the federal capital because wherever water accumulates, dengue will breed.
“Precaution is better; the more precautions we take; the sooner we will be saved from dengue. No one will be allowed to spread diseases and endanger human lives.”, he added.
