KARACHI : Deputy Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, Sadia Danish, visited the Sindh Provincial Assembly. She met with the Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Syed Agha Siraj Durrani, and the Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Rehana Leghari.
On this occasion, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly welcomed Sadia Danish to the Sindh Assembly. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding legislation in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, the functioning of committees, and the exchange of parliamentary staff. The Speaker of the Sindh Assembly assured full cooperation in this regard and further stated that parliamentary research, parliamentary assistance, capacity building, and exchange programs for parliamentary staff would be introduced so that both assemblies could benefit from each other’s experiences.
They congratulated Sadia Danish on becoming the first female Deputy Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly and expressed determination that better working relations would be established between the Sindh Assembly and the GB Assembly, which would benefit the people of both provinces.
