“Development, transparency and public service are the key priorities of our government,” says Syed Fakhar Jehan
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan has said that under the vision of Founding Chairman Imran Khan and the leadership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the provincial government is prioritising transparent governance, public welfare and timely completion of development projects.
He said that concrete and result-oriented measures are underway to ensure the development of Buner, provision of basic facilities and swift resolution of public issues, adding that further improvements are being made in these efforts.
The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accelerating the ongoing development process across the province and ensuring doorstep delivery of services to the people.
The minister expressed these views during his visit to Buner where he interacted with local elders and delegations at a “Public Day”, held at the office of the Chairman Tehsil Gagra, to listen to public issues.
Syed Fakhar Jehan spent a busy day engaging with the local community, while the public presented their key concerns and demands. Officials from various government departments were also present on the occasion.
Syed Fakhar Jehan assured the people of Buner that the pace of development projects in the district would be further enhanced, while new schemes would also be launched to provide immediate and sustainable relief to the masses and bring the region at par with other areas of the province.
He said that under the vision of Founding Chairman Imran Khan and the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohaib Afridi, the province is progressing in the right direction with a strong focus on development, transparency and public welfare and that Buner holds special significance in this development agenda.
The provincial minister said that his politics revolves around serving the people, and the trust reposed in him by the people of Buner is an honour he will uphold with utmost sincerity and dedication.
He further stated that unnecessary delays or negligence in development projects would not be tolerated and that public funds would be utilised solely for the welfare of the citizens.
Syed Fakhar Jehan emphasized that the government is especially focusing on the development of essential sectors such as infrastructure, education, health and clean drinking water to ensure long-term and meaningful benefits for the people.
He added that their aim is to initiate development schemes that will not only benefit the present but also prove advantageous for future generations.
The minister reiterated that public service, public outreach and practical resolution of issues form the cornerstone of their policy. He said that his door is open to every citizen of Buner and this engagement will continue uninterrupted for the development and prosperity of the district.
