Mirpur: Director General of the Mirpur Development Authority(MDA) Tanveer Qureshi has said that the government servants should aim to work for the welfare of the people in every capacity.
He was speaking to the officers of MDA after assuming his charge as DG. He emphasized the implementation of the department’s master plan and instructed to prioritize the sub-sector plans and present them for approval in the authorized forum, so that the issues of the public can be reduced.
DG said that the implementation of the Supreme Court’s decisions will be carried out without accepting any pressure regarding the places of public interest.
He issued strict instructions to the one window facilitation center to provide better facilities to the consumers. He also gave a directive to the works department to compile a detailed report on the condition of the roads in the city.
He said that it is his responsibility to provide relief to the citizens of Mirpur and for this purpose he will make every possible effort to provide better facilities to the people of the city.
He directed the officers of the authority to ensure their presence and issued instructions for the implementation of development projects and the provision of better facilities to the public.
