Mirpur : The District Council expressed its resolve to transform Mirpur into a model district, which would be exemplary in development for other regions of AJK.
The meeting of District Council was held here under the convenorship of its Chairman Raja Navid Akhtar alias Goga.
At the beginning the Secretary of the council Ashfaq Ahmed Noor presented the agenda of the meeting and report on the total sources of income and detail of expenditures in the house.
Chairman Raja Navid Akhtar said in his speech that he would take all the members including opposition members on board.
He assured the house that the equal distribution of development funds would be ensured.
He said that the people of the district showed confidence in them, now it is the duty of the house to come up to the expectations of the public.
On the occasion Deputy Chairman Chaudhary Adnan Shaukat and other members of the council participated in the meeting.
