Islamabad: Dr Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, former member of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, has said that Jammu and Kashmir is a global issue and stressed the need for a robust diplomacy to earn an international support for early settlement of the dispute.
Ali Raza Bukhari while talking to a delegation of Kashmiri journalists who met him in Islamabad, today, denounced the Indian Supreme Court’s verdict against Article 370 and said that the court endorsed Narendra Modi’s constitutional terrorism in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the ongoing freedom movement in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a matter of life and death for the Kashmiris, and called for countering India’s constitutional, cultural and religious onslaught in the occupied territory, at diplomatic level.
Dr Pir Ali Raza Bukhari said that Muslim world should adopt a common stand on Kashmir and Palestine issues, as the situation in the two regions is not different.
