MUZAFFARABAD: The incumbent government of PML-N in Azad Jammu and Kashmir brought historical reforms in education sector, said the AJK Minister for Education and Schools, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani here on Wednesday. He expressed this during his meeting with various delegations in Muzaffarabad.
He said that the government launched National Testing Service (NTS) in AJK to bring merit in the education sector. The teachers are getting jobs on merit basis due to the services of NTS and AJK Public Service Commission. The merit based induction of teachers has brought betterment in the education sector. The performance of the government schools have been improved in the state. People of AJK have confidence in the government schools now, he further said.
Barrister Iftikhar Gillani said that AJK witnessed historical development during the last four years of the government of PML-N in AJK. The developmental projects completed during the tenure of PML-N in AJK are visible on ground, he further said.
