Muzaffarabad: A farewell ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Information on the occasion of Director General of Information AJK Raja Azhar Iqbal’s retirement.
The Digital Media Wing presented a poetic tribute in this connection. A special documentary was shown at the ceremony, highlighting the journey of progress in the Information Department.
Secretary Tourism, Midhat Shahzad, said that the way Raja Azhar Iqbal’s services are being appreciated is proof that his role and contributions are commendable. He has done excellent work for the progress of the Information Department and the welfare of journalists through the platform of the Press Foundation.
Former Secretary of Information, Syed Zahoor-ul-Hassan Gillani, said that when a person works with hard work and dedication, he is appreciated. Raja Azhar Iqbal deserves credit for the rapid progress of the Information Department.
Former Secretary of the Government, Raja Muhammad Razaq Khan, said that he fulfilled the demands of the service, set targets, and achieved them.
Director of Information, Amjad Hussain Minhas, said that Raja Azhar Iqbal’s services for the Information Department are unforgettable.
Founder Vice Chairman of the Press Foundation, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali, said that Raja Azhar Iqbal worked with sincerity and dedication and earned great respect.
