Under the chairmanship of Minister for Agriculture and Chairman committee Sardar Mir Akber Khan, a meeting was held to review the final draft of the Agricultural Land Protection Act 2022.
Secretary Agriculture briefed the Forum on the final draft Act prepared in the light of the Committee’s recommendations.
After reviewing the draft, the Minister for agriculture appreciated the efforts of the committee and termed the act as an important milestone.
The Chairman said that by the implementation of this Act, not only the protection of agricultural areas will be made possible, but the promotion of production will also be ensured.
A committee was formed under the chairmanship of Agriculture minister Sardar Mir Akber Khan. After reviewing the draft in its first meeting, the committee made recommendations in the light of which the Act was further improved and presented in the meeting for approval.
