Malakand: The free medical camp was organized with the support of Aid International NGO. A dedicated team of 40 volunteer doctors serving in various hospitals of Peshawar and Malakand districts examined more than 1500 patients from Lower Dir, Malakand & Bajaur districts and provided them with free medicines. Specialists included Gynaecologist, Ophthalmologist, ENT, Gastroenterologist, Orthopedic, Dermatologist, Physiotherapist and Urologist. 240 free lab tests and 280 ultrasound tests along with spot reports were also provided on this occasion. Few of the female patients had ‘first experience’ of meeting any doctor in person. Frontier Corps North also provided free transport to patients coming from remote areas. Local people thanked Frontier Corps North for conducting medical camps in such deprived and inaccessible areas. Frontier Corps is dedicated to provide basic health facilities in Swat and Malakand.
