The sons of PTI chairman Imran Khan, Qasim and Suleman Khan, who reside in the UK with their mother Jemima Goldsmith, came in Lahore on Thursday to see Imran, according to the Twitter account for PTI Lahore.
After being met at the Lahore airport by Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, the sons travelled to Zaman Park to check on their father’s condition in the wake of the failed assassination attempt on him last week in Wazirabad.
On November 4, 2022, while the PTI was participating in a long march in Wazirabad’s Allahwala Chowk, Imran and several senior party figures, such as Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Ahmed Chattha, and Omer Meyer, were shot at during an attempt on their lives.
The party chief was hospitalised at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore for multiple leg injuries. He is currently healing at his Zaman Park home and intends to carry on with his lengthy march.
Imran also stated that his sons were “very scared” when they learned about the attack in an interview with British television host Piers Morgan.
After arriving to the hospital, he spoke with them as well as his ex-wife, who was glad to hear that Imran was doing well.
