Indi can’t break will of Kashmiri people: President AJK

Islamabad: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that the United Nations should play its role to help resolve the Kashmir issue in line the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. In his special message on the occasion of Self-Determination Day, today, the president, while referring to the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people, said that it was quite unfortunate that the Kashmir issue has been hanging around despite the passage of 76 years.

Terming the state of Jammu and Kashmir as an indivisible entity, Barrister Chaudhry said that the Kashmiri people would never compromise on their freedom. Terming the right of self-determination as an inalienable right of the people of Kashmir, he said, India cannot hold Kashmiris hostage for a long by the dint of force.

Denouncing Indian state terrorism, he said, India has unleashed a reign of terror in the region. He urged the international community and human rights organizations to take effective cognisance of the human rights violations being committed by the Indian occupation forces in the IoK.
