Muzaffarabad: Jamat-e-Islami AJK newly elected Ameer, Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Khan has said that the assault at the ceremony of APHC in Srinagar and taking the custody of leader by Indian army is highly condemnable.
While talking to the delegation of his party, which met him, he said that the lives of APHC leaders in IIOJK ins in threat and international community as well as Muslim Ummah should take notice on it.
“India cannot suppress the independence movement of Kashmir with the colonial tactics. The Indian army is involved in the war crimes in occupied Kashmir and the international human rights organizations should take notice of it.
The JI leader said that the Kashmiris are making efforts for their rights of self-determination under the charter of United Nation’s Security Council, which had been accepted by the international community.
“India, herself went to UNO where he pledged to provide the basic rights to Kashmiris so that they would make the decision of their political future after impartial plebiscite. Now India has backup from his promises”, Mushtaq added.
He said that it is the obligation of international community, who had ensured Kashmiris that if they would carry out ceasefire, then their birth right would be given to them. Now the world should fulfil its responsibility to take action against India.
