Kashmir Solidarity Walk Organized on Bank Road by Rawalpindi Cantonment Board

Rawalpindi: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, February 5, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board organized a Kashmir Solidarity Walk on Bank Road to express wholehearted solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to raise voice against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

The walk was attended by Deputy Executive Officer Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Nasir Kamal, nominated member of the Cantonment Board Zahid Iqbal Bakhtawari, representatives of traders’ associations, officers and employees of the Cantonment Board, and a large number of citizens. Participants carried banners and placards bearing slogans in support of the Kashmiri people, while chants of Kashmir will become Pakistan and We stand with Kashmir echoed throughout the area.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Executive Officer Nasir Kamal said that February 5 symbolizes the collective resolve of the entire Pakistani nation to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for freedom. He said that for decades, the people of Kashmir have been facing Indian oppression, violence, and grave human rights violations, and the silence of the international community over these injustices is deeply regrettable.

He further stated that Pakistan will continue to extend its moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people at all levels and will keep highlighting their struggle for the right to self-determination at every international forum. He emphasized the role of the youth, urging them to keep the Kashmir issue alive and to play an active role in shaping global public opinion.

At the conclusion of the walk, special prayers were offered for the martyrs of Kashmir, for the elevation of their ranks, patience for their families, and the early freedom of the Kashmiri people. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting the Kashmiri cause at every level.
