Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter paid glowing tributes to the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on his birth anniversary today. A seminar was organized to honor his legacy and discuss his vision, leadership, and the ongoing Kashmir struggle.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar was attended by a number of prominent political and social leaders who highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s remarkable leadership and foresight in the creation of Pakistan. They emphasized that under his dynamic leadership, the Muslims of South Asia united for the cause of a separate homeland, which they achieved in 1947 after immense struggle.
Speakers at the seminar noted that the people of Kashmir played a pivotal role in the Pakistan movement, fighting alongside their Muslim brothers in the subcontinent to ensure the creation of Pakistan. They affirmed that Kashmiris had a deep affection and respect for Quaid-e-Azam and Pakistan. The participants emphasized that the vision of the Founder of Pakistan included Kashmir as an integral part of the nation, and they reiterated that Pakistan would remain incomplete without the liberation of Kashmir from Indian occupation.
The speakers reaffirmed that the people of Kashmir firmly believed that their ultimate goal was to see Kashmir integrated with Pakistan. They pointed out that, historically, the people of Kashmir have always supported Pakistan’s cause, and their struggle for freedom remains steadfast. They expressed their unwavering conviction that Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan is an inevitable and necessary step toward completing the vision of Quaid-e-Azam for a united and prosperous Pakistan.
In addition to the tributes, the seminar also highlighted the continued struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. The speakers called for greater international attention to the Kashmir dispute, urging Pakistan to continue its diplomatic efforts in global forums to ensure the Kashmir issue remains a priority on the world stage.
The event concluded with a call for solidarity with the Kashmiri people, reaffirming that the Pakistani nation stands resolute in supporting the Kashmiris’ freedom movement and will continue to advocate for their rights in every possible way. The participants expressed hope that with the continued support of Pakistan, Kashmir would one day be free from Indian rule and join its rightful place as part of Pakistan.
