King Charles is planning to honour Kate Middleton, breaking with royal custom for the Princess of Wales.
The Princess of Wales may be given a position that has never been done before as part of King Charles’ plans to honour his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton.
In order to assist King Charles with official royal duties when the monarch is away from home or ill, The Daily Record UK stated that Kate Middleton, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward might be appointed as Counsellors of State.
In the past, he had already defied royal custom by increasing his council to five people.
In order to maintain the positions of Prince Harry and Andrew, King Charles will reportedly add three more advisors to the present list of five.
According to the insider, the number of Counsellors of State would increase for simply practical reasons. It is only proper that this is taken care of since the Prince and Princess of Wales as well as the King and Queen Consort are perhaps gone.
Dr. Craig Prescott, a constitutional expert, has called King Charles’ decision to put Kate Middleton on the list “extraordinary.”
