Mirpur: Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT), the largest welfare organization of Azad Jammu and Kashmir distributed ration and relief to deserving families’ in which DC Haveli Chaudhary Muhammad Ayub and chairman District Council Mirpur Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga participated as a special guest.
Ration was distributed among hundreds of needy and deserving families.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman District Council Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga appreciated the efforts and hard work of the chairman of the KORT Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar and said he is the Abdul Sattar Edi of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He further said that there is no other example in Azad Kashmir for the support of orphans and poor children that Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar has taken.
He said that he was impressed by the unparalleled services of the KORT and assured that he will also join KORT after retiring from political life and serve the suffering humanity
