KZK School holds Teacher Training Workshop

ISLAMABAD: Khadija Zareen Khan Montessori School organized a one-day teacher training workshop under its Impact 20 initiative, focusing on “Active Learning and Classroom Management Skills.” The program aimed to strengthen teaching practices and improve learning outcomes in low-cost schools.

Held in collaboration with Beaconhouse Potohar Campus KG & LP, the session was conducted by PDSI Ms. Saba Kamran and Instructional Coach Ms. Anam Yasir, bringing together educators committed to enhancing classroom engagement and student participation.

Mrs. Khadija Zareen Khan, CEO of the school and a noted educationist, highlighted the need to empower teachers as the foundation of sustainable education reform.

The workshop emphasized interactive and student-centered teaching approaches to replace traditional rote learning. Participants practiced group-based activities, critical thinking exercises, and techniques for maintaining effective classroom environments.

Through Impact 20, Khadija Zareen Khan Montessori School seeks to bridge gaps between well-resourced and low-cost institutions by offering mentorship and skill development opportunities.

Certificates were distributed to participants at the closing ceremony, where Mrs. Khan personally congratulated teachers for their enthusiasm and commitment.

Education experts praised her leadership, describing her as a “visionary who connects innovation with compassion.” Under her guidance, the school has become a model for early education, integrating modern methods with traditional values to promote holistic child development.

The collaboration with Beaconhouse Potohar Campus, led by Head Mistress Sidra Shams Noor, was also appreciated as a strong example of educational partnership. The initiative has drawn interest from other schools looking to replicate the successful model of shared learning and professional growth.
