Modi assaulted identity, culture of identity of Kashmiris: Hameed Lone

Islamabad: Abdul Hameed Lone, vice chairman of Friends of Kashmir International said that the Modi government has launched an assault on the unique identity, culture, and language of Kashmiris, depriving the Kashmiri people of their basic rights.

While addressing a seminar organisd by Behria University Islamabad, Abdul Hameed Lone highlighted the ongoing dire situation in the occupied region of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed that the Modi government has devastated the future of Kashmiri youth and continues condemnable efforts to disrupt the population balance in the occupied territory following the unilateral and illegal actions of August 5, 2019.

Abdul Hameed Lone reminded that on August 5, the Modi government revoked Article 370 and Article 35A, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. He urged Pakistani youth to actively participate in awakening the Kashmir cause and contribute to the development, progress, and happiness of the nation.
