Member Legislative Assembly Javed Iqbal Badhanvi has said that the appointment of the newly elected PM for Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haque will reduce corruption and improve good governance in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that just as the newly elected Prime Minister has reduced his protocol, the ministers and advisors of the government will also follow in the footsteps of the Prime Minister to reduce their protocol and play their full role in eradicating VIP culture and corruption.

The current situation requires certain compromises, and the government has been unable to address the citizens’ issues in the past two years. Therefore, it is vital to concentrate on the fundamental problems of the people without any further delay.

Javed Badhanvi added that the People’s Party has always put the restoration of democracy ahead of their leadership, and the recent democratic power shift in Azad Kashmir is a testament to their commitment to democracy.
