The flight control system on Britain’s future fighter jet, the Tempest, will include a combination of AR, VR, and AI and will have no physical switches or screens in the cockpit, as the progressed frameworks will endeavor to perused the pilot’s mind to screen their condition and surroundings.

Not at all like drones, the Tempest will not be totally computerized but will require a combination of human and machine control, referred to as “scalable autonomy“.

The pilot will have sensors in his helmet and utilize them and AI to analyze brain signals. The AI will also have the capacity to take over the plane in case the pilot is stressed or unconscious.

The RAF website explains that cockpit technology will monitor the pilot’s condition using eye tracking, particularly if they are tired or stressed. AI, VR, and AR are anticipated to gather and prepare informationrectifying data that comes to the pilot to improve situational mindfulness.

Test flights of the modern fighter will start in 2027 and it could be deployed by 2035.
