On November 7 and 8, Karachi and other parts of Sindh could expect rain: Metro office

Beginning on November 7, several cities in Sindh, including Karachi, are expected to experience light rain and wind thunderstorms. This prediction comes from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Due to a “westerly wave” that is currently in the nation, additional districts that would get rain include Dadu, Ghotki, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Khairpur Kashmore, Larkana, Nausheroferoze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Sukkur, and Qambar Shahdadkot.
In the province, daytime temperatures are forecast to drop by two to four degrees Celsius.
In Karachi, the three days ahead will have a maximum temperature of 36C and a low temperature of 21C. On Saturday, anticipate sunny skies, while on Sunday, expect partly overcast skies.
It went on to say that the city’s humidity would fluctuate between 80 and 92 percent in the morning and 30 and 50 percent in the evening.
From November 4 to 7, according to the PMD’s projection from yesterday, the nation will experience its first winter rains, along with snowfall in mountainous areas.
Several Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Malakand, as well as Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, are predicted to see rain, wind thunderstorms, and scattered hailstorms beginning on November 4.
The PMD has issued similar forecasts for other KP and Punjab cities, including Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Sialkot, Lahore, Gujranwala, Mianwali, and Faisalabad.
On Nov. 6 and 7, various cities in Sindh and Punjab, including Karachi, Dadu, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Multan, and Okara, as well as Balochistan, comprising Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Loralai, Bolan, Khuzdar, and Lasbela, were expected to see light to moderate thunderstorms with wind.
The PMD has also issued a warning over the possibility of landslides in KP, GB, and Azad Kashmir as a result of the intense rains.
Additionally, it has urged the concerned authorities to be “vigilant” throughout the projected time.
