Qamar Zaman Kaira, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs, has said that he has a very old relationship with Kashmir, that’s why whenever we came to power, I was given the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, which is a matter of great honour for me. There is an opportunity to serve the people of Kashmir.
He expressed these views while addressing the reception of the District Bar Association as a special guest. He said that Kashmir is that aorta of Pakistan and Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir. Pakistan and Kashmir are bound by geographical and blood relations in such a way that no one can separate them. The case of Kashmir has been pending for the last 75 years, for which the people of the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir have continued to struggle for a long time and have made an eternal story of sacrifices that cannot be found in the world.
India used all the weapons and tactics of oppression and coercion to break the freedom spirit of the Kashmiris, but it could not diminish the morale of the Kashmiris. There is a need for a good presentation of the Kashmir case in front of the world. Any democratic government of Pakistan is always behind the cause of Kashmiris. The struggle for freedom of Kashmiris is a part of the completion of Pakistan.
President Bar Kamran Tariq Advocate addressed the reception while the members of the Assembly Chaudhry Qasim Majeed, Ms. Nabila Ayub, Chairman Central Zakat Council Chaudhry Mohammad attended the ceremony.
