Pashto Academy playing important role in promoting culture, message of peace & harmony: Major General Noor Wali Khan

The delegation of Pashto Academy Peshawar Islamia visited the historical Fort Balahisar. Inspector General Frontier Corps North Major General Noor Wali Khan welcomed the delegation on arrival at Balahisar Fort. The delegation was briefed about the history of Frontier Corps North, its area of responsibility and the measures taken to establish peace, development and prosperity in these areas. Addressing the delegation, IGFC North said that the Pashto Academy is playing an important role in promoting not only culture but also the message of peace and harmony in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its members are encouraging the young generation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to play a positive role through their research and work keeping in mind the requirements of the modern age. The participants thanked the IGFC for inviting them to Fort Balahisar. The delegation strongly condemned the events of May 9 and paid tribute to the security forces and other law enforcement agencies and said that the nation salutes the sacrifices made by these agencies for peace in the country. The participants appreciated the steps taken by the Frontier Corps North for peace and development in the tribal districts of Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Malakand. The participants said that a large number of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa youths are serving the country in Pakistan Army and other security agencies, which is a source of pride for the nation. The participants reiterated that they will stand by the Pak Army and other law enforcement agencies.
