As before the 2018 general election, Imran Khan promised the people of Pakistan a new era of transparency, accountability, and economic growth. He pledged to end corruption, create millions of jobs, and provide social services to the poorest segments of the population. His message resonated with millions of Pakistanis who were disillusioned with traditional political parties that had failed to deliver on their promises.
As the people found the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government; contrary to the lofty claims and promises made by the cricket legend Imran Khan before the general election 2018. Pakistani nation has been experiencing unemployment and huge corrupt practices on political and bureaucracy level while inflation skyrocketed. The political turmoil in Pakistan reached a breaking point as PTI saw itself on the brink of collapse. The popularity graph of Imran Khan was falling down with passage of time. Various surveys indicated that during the last year of PTI government, the party had mere 30 percent vote bank of those affiliated workers who were directly or indirectly getting some perks.
It was certain that Tehreek-e-Insaaf will be zero after completing the term, while on the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and other allies as cluster of parties under umbrella of PDM had been gaining momentum by promising to “honor the vote”, a slogan that resonates with many Pakistanis who feel that their votes have not been respected. Whose popularity might have been touched the sky. However an extra-ordinary popularity of any political party does not suites to the power circles of Pakistan. To minimize the power of both the existing ruling party of that time as well the prospector one, this way in a very important situation, the opposition was persuaded to remove the Tehreek-e-Insaf government through a motion of no-confidence.

After almost a year of fierce confrontation between Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Pakistan Democratic Movement an alliance of thirteen political parties, eventually the arrest of Imran Khan on May 9, 2023 resulted attacks and sieges by PTI workers on army installations across Pakistan. Then after arresting all the PTI leaders started and so far, more than 80 of the major leaders who are being released on the condition of leaving the party have said goodbye to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf while many more are expected yet.
Now, if PDM welcomes as ticket holders to the people who have resigned from Tehreek-e-Insaf, it will be like hijacking PDM, while in case of closing the doors of the party for them, a new political party of electables may emerge which can also attract some members from PDM parties and to rule over the all parties particularly on federal level. Or Pakistan People Party may be chosen to be awarded with the upcoming regime on inclusion the members who quite Tehreek-i-Inasaf. However it will be not worthless to analyse that JUI may enjoy in all situations ahead
It seems that the Muslim League has not been able to gain any political advantage in the near future except to dispose of its cases. While the remaining damage to democracy by PTI, the PDM has accomplished much more than. If Pakistani politicians intend to sustain a democratic society in the country, they must prioritize the practice of dialogue over their own personal egos. It is only through dialogue and compromise that lasting solutions can be reached on critical issues such as social and economic development, national security, and foreign policy.
