Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has stated that the government is taking all possible measures to eliminate the sense of deprivation among the people of the state. Ensuring the welfare of marginalized classes and eradicating poverty from the state are among the top priorities. From Neelum to Chhamb, there will be governance under a single law.
During an iftar dinner hosted by the Minister of Wildlife and Development Authority, Sardar Javaid Ayub, in Kotli district yesterday, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq expressed these views. On this occasion, government ministers Sardar Javaid Ayub, Mian Abdul Waheed, and Javaid Iqbal Baidhani also addressed the gathering. Additionally, Ministers of the Government Chaudhry Azhar Saadiq, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Nasar Ansar Abdali, women, members of the People’s Party, and a large number of people from Kotli district were also present.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that any society cannot function properly if there is injustice. He stated that he is determined to spend the tax money of the people on their welfare and development and will use all means to accomplish this mission. He emphasized the need to eradicate corruption and inefficiency to establish law and justice in the state. Serving the poor people of the state, their welfare, and ending poverty in the region are among the government’s top priorities.
He said that the government is taking steps on priority basis for the improvement of tourism and infrastructure to promote tourism and provide job opportunities to the people. He stated that the Public Service Commission has been made an active institution, now even a poor person’s child can be employed on merit.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that it takes time to improve a broken system, but, God willing, everything will be better now. He emphasized restrictions on cutting down trees to prevent environmental pollution in the interest of the public, but it is also the responsibility of the government to ensure the availability of alternative fuels.
He said that as long as he is in power, he will use all means for the welfare and development of the people. He added that the government has reduced its non-development expenditures and established funds for the welfare of destitute individuals in society.
Sardar Javaid Ayub, in his address, thanked Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq for visiting Kotli and reiterated his commitment to work with the Prime Minister for good governance, development, and welfare of the people in the state. He said that Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq is the Prime Minister of all parties. He said that non-discriminatory funds have been distributed in all constituencies.
Sardar Javaid Ayub stated that they are focusing on tourism, hydel power, and road infrastructure, which will promote tourism and create employment opportunities. He said that the government is strong and will move forward with the mission of serving the people. Javaid Iqbal Baidhani said that those who are conspiring against the current government should know that their conspiracies will never succeed. He praised the initiatives of Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq and stated that they will continue to serve the people of the state shoulder to shoulder with the Prime Minister.
