Islamabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq has pledged that the government of AJK would make the conditions of labour better according to teachings of Islam, constitution and as per international standards.
In his special statement, on the eve of labor day, the PM AJK has said that the entire progress around the globe has not been possible without the contribution of labour. He said that on this day the laborers’ sacrifices of Chicago have turned into an international movement.
He said that the efforts of the International Labour Organization (ILO)for the welfare and safety of laborers is commendable.
He said that laborers play an important role in the development of any country. Some 1400 years ago, the Islam emphasized the dignity of labour.
