PM AJK terms Kashmir as an undivided unity

ISLAMABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said the fundamental objective to establish Muslim league (N) in Azad Kashmir was not for the sake of power but it was to strengthen the relations of Kashmiri people with Pakistan. Addressing a public meeting held in connection with the founding day of Muslim league here on Wednesday, he said Kashmir is an undivided unity and no one will be allowed to divide Kashmir.
He strongly condemned the illegal and immoral actions of the Indian Prime Minister on 5th of august last year and added that India has targeted Pakistan on 5th august last year while Kashmiri had been facing the Indian repressions for the last over seven decades.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his government resolve to hold fair, free and transparent general elections in Azad Kashmir but made it clear that Gilgit Baltistan episode will not be allowed to repeat in Azad Kashmir and added that people of Azad Kashmir are fully capable to protect their vote in the coming elections.
The Prime Minister said that over six lakh Kashmiri people had offered sacrifices for the liberation of Occupied Kashmir and for the completion of Pakistan while eleven thousand women were molested for the achievement of their agreed right to self determination and have been offering tremendous sacrifices for the security and integrity of Pakistan.
Appreciating the role of youth in the establishment of Pakistan he said youth have played a leading role for the establishment of Pakistan.
He said it was due dynamic and charismatic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that a big Islamic state was emerged with the democratic process. The Prime Minister said that Kashmiri people had decided to link their destiny with Pakistan on 19th July 1947 before the inception of Pakistan and added that Kashmiri people had reaffirmed their pledge to join Pakistan during the visit of Qauid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Srinagar in 1944 .
He said commitment made by the central leadership of Muslim league (N) in presence of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to make Azad Kashmir a powerful state has been fulfilled.
The function was also addressed by the Vice President PMLN Mariyam Nawaz, Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal, Shah Ghulam Qadir, Ch.Tariq Farooq, Ch. Muhammad Aziz and Mushtaq Minhas.
