The initiative, spearheaded by Commander 2 AK, D.I.G Poonch City, Sheryar Sikandar, marked a pivotal step towards safeguarding the lives and assets of the community.
The ceremony, held at Sheikh Zayed Hospital (CMH) Rawalakot, witnessed the participation of key officials including Commander CMH, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mumtaz Kazmi, and SSP Rawalakot, Khawar Ali Shaukat.

Instead of relying solely on conventional police stations, the initiative offers immediate transportation to hospitals, victim support services, counselling, guidance, and 24-hour information dissemination in case of emergencies.
Moreover, citizens will have the convenience of reporting thefts on the spot and completing initial reports for missing valuable items. Additionally, the coordination with medical personnel ensures the timely completion of medical reports for individuals seeking assistance at the hospital.
The Police Service Counter will also facilitate the reporting of lost identity cards, licenses, and other essential documents, with reports promptly provided the following day.
Furthermore, the initiative underscores a proactive approach to emergency situations, with provisions made for blood donation to assist the injured. The staff of the Police Service Counter will maintain comprehensive records of blood donors and pertinent contact information for seamless communication during emergencies.
Crucially, the Incharge of the Police Service Counter will liaise with legal authorities for matters requiring legal advice, ensuring that actions taken are in accordance with the law.
