Princess Kate Middleton sparkles in a rare tiara at a Palace reception

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, wore a dazzlingly rare royal tiara to the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.

The 40-year-old princess arrived in style for the affair with husband Prince William, wearing a holiday-esque red sequined Jenny Packham gown accessorised with tear-drop earrings and an ultra-rare tiara she last wore in 2015!

Kate chose to wear the Lotus Flower Tiara for the royal event, according to US Weekly; she was last seen wearing the delicate tiara at a state banquet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2015.

Kate chose the Lotus tiara from the royal vault specifically for the annual Diplomatic Reception; she was also seen wearing it at the 2013 reception.

Meanwhile, other senior royals stepped out in style to host hundreds of Diplomatic Corps at Buckingham Palace, with Queen Consort Camilla donning the Belgian Sapphire Tiara.
