Rawalpindi Women University organized “RWU Rising Pakistan 23 (Inter-University Competition)”’ aimed at providing a platform for the students to showcase their talents and skills. The event witnessed the participation of 24 universities from all over Pakistan, who competed in a wide range of events including Qirat, Naat, Drama, Bait Bazi, Mushaira, Web Development, Graphic Designing, Wall Graffiti, Hurdle Race, Tech Quiz, Dumb Charade, Minute to Win, Sketching, Poster Competition, Short Film, Photography, Tug of War, Badminton, Chess, Ludo, Volleyball, English Debate, Urdu Debate, Musical Chair, and Singing.
Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal, Vice Chancellor RWU, speaking on the occasion said that RWU believes in providing students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity, and this competition was yet another effort in that direction. Co-curricular activities plays a vital role in promoting physical and mental health.
The students participated in all the events with great enthusiasm, which made the competition even more exciting. The organizing committee ensured that all events were conducted smoothly and professionally, ensuring that all participants had a fair chance to demonstrate their abilities.
Winners were awarded with cash prizes, shields and certificates.
