RCB holds open court at Romi Park

Rawalpindi: On the special directives of the Director General Military Lands and Cantonments, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board organized an open court at Romi Park to directly address public grievances. Deputy Chief Executive Officer Nasir Kamal presided over the session and listened to issues raised by residents from various areas of the cantonment.

During the open court, citizens presented applications related to civic services, municipal matters, sanitation, encroachments, water supply, and other local concerns. Deputy CEO Nasir Kamal issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officers for prompt redressal of the complaints and emphasized timely follow-up to ensure practical solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Kamal stated that resolving public issues on a priority basis is the top objective of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board. He said that all available resources are being utilized to ensure that citizens receive maximum relief and that their problems are addressed in an efficient and transparent manner. He further stressed that public service delivery remains the core responsibility of the board and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.

The Deputy CEO added that such open courts are an effective platform for direct interaction between the administration and the public, helping bridge communication gaps and build trust. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board to continue holding similar sessions in the future to ensure easy access for citizens and swift resolution of their grievances.

Residents appreciated the initiative and expressed satisfaction over the direct hearing of their problems, terming the open court a positive step toward responsive governance and improved municipal services in the cantonment area.
