The Department of Pakistan Studies organised a Seminar titled “Youth Bulge and the Future of Pakistan” Brig. (R) Abdul Hafeez, Principal Cadet Collage Warsak, Peshawar was the keynote speaker. While addressing he said students of Pakistan Studies has an opportunity to learn about the contemporary challenges being faced by the of youth. Mr. Hafeez said that about 65 percent of Pakistan comprised of youth between The age of 15 to 40, which is unprecedented in The world.
He said that the youth levels must be equipped with intellectual, physical, emotional and social development so that they could be an asset for the country.The students also asked several questions to the Guest Speaker, pertaining to different topics to pursue their future research.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Sultan Dean Faculty of Social Sciences NUML thanked the guest speakers and told that all out efforts are being made at NUML university to promote research culture.
At the end HOD Pakistan Studies department Dr. Shoaib Malik thanked all the participants.
