Meri Mehnat Meri Manzil Welfare Organisation organizes an event titled “Together for Change” in Islamabad. Chairman Human Rights Wing AJK Sardar Kabir Altaf was the chief guest of the event.
President Meri Mehnat Meri Manzil Welfare Organization Rizwana Anwar welcomed the guests and briefed them about the working and functions of her organization. She said that her organization has been working from the last 25 years on ground level on the matters of women empowerment and skill development in Bagh AJK and Rawalpindi.
‘We are planning to expand our areas of interest to other far flung areas of AJK, and I am appealing to the government to help small NGOs as they work on ground and know the situation better than other officials’. She further said
While addressing the gathering, Chairman Human rights wing AJK Sardar Kabir Altaf said, ” Meri Mehnat Meri Manzil Welfare Organisation has worked day and night to raise the helpless women of Kashmir and Pakistan community. It is the moral responsibility of the government and every influential person of the society to support them in every way.”
The other speakers include Media Coordinator PM AJK Umar Riyaz, PPP AJK Information Secretary Zobia Khursheed and a large number of media representatives, Doctors, Scholars, Professors, Human rights activists also attended the event.
