Gilgit: With the cooperation of the European Union, an important consultative meeting on policy formulation with technical assistance was organised in Skardu, Baltistan. The meeting was held under the auspices of the Soni Jawari Center for Public Policy (SJCPP).
The participants included the Director-General of Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management, as well as representatives from the departments of Agriculture, Livestock, Forests, Water, and Power.
During the meeting, the head of Soni Jawari Center for Public Policy (SJCPP), Azhar Hanzai, provided a detailed briefing on the approved program. The participants reached an agreement on finalizing the draft of the program during the week-long session.
