The construction work on Sukkar-Khairabad Motorway would be launched soon as the process of land requisition for the project is in the final stage.
This was informed by the Member(Private Public Partnership) National Highways Authority(NHA) Asim Amin while talking to E- Kuchary on Monday. He said that the NHA has made the payment to the Sindh government regarding Sukkar-Khairabad Motorway and the project would be completed within two and half years.
He said that though the pace of work on different highways remained sluggish in the past, NHA has started these projects again. He said that the people would feel difference in NHA’s projects including GT Road and Indus Highway from Khyber to Karachi.
“Express Way is the part and parcel of the Motorway. The things have been settled down with the World bank regarding the projects. NHA has also shortlisted the contractors and soon the contracts would be awarded”, Amin added.
While responding to the different queries from the public, he said that the team of engineers and experts in NHA are performing their duties with a sense of responsibility and dedication. Every project of the National Highway Authority would reflect the satisfaction of the people.
