RAWALAKOT: A vibrant talent expo celebrating Pakistan’s rich cultural diversity was organized at Tameer-a-Insaniya Academy and Model College, Ziarat Paniola, aiming to raise students’ awareness about national traditions, values, and creativity.
The event featured cultural displays representing all four provinces of Pakistan, along with Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Stalls and models highlighting the Armed Forces of Pakistan’s historic victory in Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos drew special praise from guests. It was the third major expo held at the institution and witnessed enthusiastic participation from political and social figures, local government representatives, parents, students, teachers, and members of civil society.
Principal Syed Mohsin Raza, who inaugurated the expo along with male and female staff members, said the event aimed to reconnect the younger generation with Pakistan’s cultural roots at a time when society is increasingly influenced by Western trends. “The expo not only showcased the country’s diverse heritage but also reflected the students’ creativity and commitment. This successful event is the result of three months of teamwork and dedication,” he said, congratulating his faculty and students.
Syed Masood Gardezi, President of the Central Union of Journalists, District Poonch, also lauded the organizers, saying such events should not be viewed as mere exhibitions but as important educational platforms that nurture students’ intellectual and creative growth. He emphasized that while many schools hold academic programs, large-scale expos like this require dedication, time, and resources, which the institution’s staff demonstrated commendably.
He added that such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting cultural understanding and giving young people opportunities to express their skills and talents. The event, he noted, helps preserve Pakistan’s social traditions and values while encouraging innovation among youth.
Prominent attendees included Chairman Union Council Raja Azhar Azad Kiani, Vice Chairman Saeed Shah, Principal Inter College Datoot Tanveer Ahmed Kiani, serving and retired educationists, doctors, journalists, and businessmen. All participants appreciated the institution’s efforts in organizing a successful and meaningful event that blended education, creativity, and national pride.
