Islamabad: A delegation of Traders Welfare Association, I-8 Markaz, Islamabad led by its President Raja Fayyaz Gul visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and apprised the ICCI Office Bearers about the key issues of their market. Zahid Qureshi Secretary General, Hameed Ahmed Abbasi Vice President, Arshad Khan Patron-in-Chief, Dr. Irshad Ahmed Khan, Sheikh Imran, Syed Azhar Zaman Hamdani, Naimmullah Nomi, Hassan Sheraz, Zaheer Sadiq, Mohsin Raza, Omar Zamir Afridi, Syed Atir Ali Shah, Shahriyar Ahmed, Attiq Satti, Rana Jamshaid Ali, and others were in the delegation. Zahid Hussain, Chairman, All Pakistan Furniture Association, Abid Abbasi, President, G-10 Markaz, Saif ur Rehman Khan, Ch. Ashraf Farzand, Ch. Irfan, and others were also present at the occasion.
Addressing the delegation, Muhammad Shakeel Munir, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that I-8 was one of the important commercial centre of Islamabad and CDA should focus on its better development. He stressed that all unfinished development works should be expedited to improve the infrastructure in I-8 Markaz.
Jamshaid Akhtar Sheikh, Senior Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi former President and Khalid Chaudhry former Senior Vice President ICCI also spoke at the occasion and assured that ICCI would fully cooperation with Traders Welfare Association, I-8 Markaz in resolving the key issues of traders of the area.
Speaking at the occasion, Raja Fayyaz President and Zahid Qureshi Secretary General, Traders Welfare Association, I-8 Markaz lauded the role of ICCI for the passage of amended bill of rent control act from the parliament that has resolved the 40 years old issues of the traders. They called upon the CDA to develop a flower market in I-8 Markaz, which was the old demand of the traders. They resolved that their association would develop close liaison with ICCI for resolving the key issues of the traders of I-8 Markaz and surrounding areas.
