Srinagar: The youth leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Umar Adil Dar has strongly denounced the custodial killing of three innocent civilians by the Indian Army in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In a special message from central jail Srinagar, Umar Adil Dar said the killing of innocent civilians in custody by Indian troops has become a routine matter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and urged the international community to take cognizance of the war crimes being perpetrated by the troops in the occupied territory.
It is pertinent to mention that civilians, Safeer Hussain, Mohammad Showkat and Shabbir Ahmed were arrested by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation and killed in custody in the Bafliaz area of the district.
The youth leader expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the death of renowned Kashmiri leader Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl in London.
While paying eulogizing tribute to Prof. Nazir Ahmad Shawl, for his selfless services and efforts to highlight Kashmir cause at the international level, Umar Adil said that the deceased leader had dedicated his whole life to the freedom of Kashmir.
Prof. Shawl, he said, raised his voice for the rights of the people of Kashmir at every world forum
Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Dar prayed to Allah the almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
