Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani held a detailed meeting with Pakistan country director UNICEF and briefed him about the development projects in the province.
The UNICEF country director offered full support for the mother and child project in the province.

In this regard Chief secretary said that the UNICEF will review the implementation of WASH extension projects in girls’ schools in Gilgit-Baltistan and support the Gilgit-Baltistan government in working on child and maternal health in remote areas
UNICEF will also provide support to Gilgit-Baltistan for Nutritional supplements to control stunted growth in children.
