Vanity fair:overblown hyperboles in universities of Pakistan and across the globe.

Reality only exits in mind and nowhere else.

George orwell deeply say in his book 1984. In 21st Century superficial sentiments have superbly exaggerated and its midst reality rarely seen. Fiction has replaced with reality! Particularly young people are emotionally disoriented and create phoney romantic relationships in the name of friendship with girls. This trend has been emerged  here but yet, with Dogmatic & hyperbolic ignorance & the lack of understanding has left this trend Incomplete.

Vanity Fair in university refers to a culture or phenomenon where students prioritize superficiality, social status, and personal image over intellectual pursuits and academic growth. In such an environment, students may become preoccupied with appearances, popularity, and materialistic pursuits, often neglecting the true purpose of education.

The presence of Vanity Fair in universities can have several negative effects. Firstly, it fosters a competitive and cutthroat atmosphere where the focus shifts from learning and personal development to seeking external validation and social recognition. This can result in a lack of genuine engagement with academic subjects and a diminished passion for acquiring knowledge.

Moreover, the emphasis on superficial aspects can lead to a devaluation of intellectual pursuits, critical thinking, and meaningful discussions. Students may prioritize social events, networking, and partying over investing time and effort into their studies.

Since the very Inception, Students Intentionally & Unintentionally tries to fix and divest the stream of emotions they leaves no stone unturned to Search of lost dreams but ultimately in most cases they leaves in a state of disarray. Technology & Social media have big hand & has fostered this trend. One of my observation not an accusation is that they go through facebook & Instagram Id’s, unecessarily some Innocent & Innocous Student unwillingly do this as societal impacts affects & somewhere in their unconscious such blah blahs garneres some space. It will be not go wastage of word that such Sentiments have been overblown & exaggerated Unecessarily.

Apart from cheap mentality of Students, most are barely seen in colourful and lavish clothes despite economic & financial Constraints which is subsequent of Societal mental weakness. Tussle between class has devastated society’s norms. The reverse gear is not mere an outcome outcome of youth but the society have equal role In it. The class lacuna need not only to be fill but the prophecy is no longer seen in the future. Vanity & ostentation have emerged as a new phenomenon while the horizon of educational Competition is closed  & lost in such trends.The impact of these dynamics extends beyond the relationship itself. In university settings, where social interactions and networks play a significant role, class struggle within relationships can exacerbate existing inequalities and divisions. It can reinforce cliques and social hierarchies based on socioeconomic status, further marginalizing individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. This perpetuates an environment where opportunities for upward mobility are limited, and students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds may feel excluded or alienated.

Lack of an intellectual mindset among students in universities has detrimental effects on society. Without a strong emphasis on critical thinking, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge, students may become complacent and disengaged. This leads to a shallow understanding of complex issues, a decline in innovation, and a limited ability to contribute meaningfully to society. Additionally, the absence of intellectual pursuits hinders the development of well-rounded individuals who can analyze problems, propose solutions, and adapt to a rapidly changing world. A society with a dearth of intellectual mindset is at risk of stagnation and may struggle to address pressing challenges effectively.

Today we not only need to restructure and re-engineer such Overblown sentiments and trends but need to go beyond these fictions.The world has stepped in outside world and here we are entangled in Fictional stories and vanity fairs.
