The Anti-Terrorist Court has issued non bailable warrants of PML(N)’s central Secretary Information Marriyam Aurangzab . But the political opponents think that nothing big would happen against her as the government is trying to show the people that level playing field is available to all parties.
Despite the tall claims of the government regarding level playing field to all the political parties for the coming general elections, PTI is facing hardship in running the election campaign freely but on the other hand a discriminatory manner is seen as far as PML(N)’s electioneering drive is concerned .
The voters of PTI are in ambiguity about the future of chairman of the party as the workers are disappointed as their leader is in jail and it looks like that his cases would go beyond the elections. It is very much likely that he may face embargo from contesting elections in one of the cases that are under trial in the court of law.
Unluckily in the prevailing political system all the political parties resolve around one figure which has a centric position in the party. As the entire politics of PML(N) is the saying of Nawaz Sharif likewise the position of Zardari in PPP is as sun in the solar system. Similarly, the entire politics of PTI revolves around the personality of Imran Khan.
If any of the central leaders would be subtracted from the political process, his party would be lingered on as a minor child, who is learning to walk could toddle without a walker.
It is also a historical fact, the PML(N) and PPP had faced almost the same circumstances in the past by which the PTI is passing through nowadays. Going of former prime ministers to jail on corruption charges has become a routine which is a matter of great concern for the nation.
The common man has lost the confidence over the political system due to corruption as the people on a large scale think that there is no one who takes care of their problem and every leader who came to power ever plundered the national exchequer with both hands.
It is very alarming that the people of the country do not have trust in their leaders due to corrupt practices, misuse of authority and nepotism and this is the very reason that every election in the last three decades has shown low turnout on election day, which is decreasing day by day.
It is a fact that every year in the budget each government allocates an enormous amount for the development but the worse state of poor infrastructure and lack of basic amenities for the people is the ample prove that the entire amount of development budget goes to the pockets of the corrupt rulers and dishonest bureaucracy and people got nothing except paying heavy taxes in lieu of the foreign loans which were taken on the name of development from international donor agencies on toughest conditions.
There is not any unlucky nation in the world as Pakistan because it has full of natural resources, large number of manpower and all the four weather but the people are suffering a lot and the simply and lone cause behind it that it has deficiency of honest and dedicated leadership
