AJK Legislative Assembly passes resolution against Indian brutalities in IIOJK

The house rejects the illegal Indian measure taken on 5th August 2019 , swelling in human rights violations and turning the Indian occupied Kashmir into large jail

# India is changing demography of Kashmir by  issuing domiciles to non Kashmiris and allowing non resident to buy property in IIOJK which is highly unacceptable

Muzaffarabad () The Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly has adopted the resolution  unanimously that demanded the right of self-determination to Kashmiris according to United Nations’ resolutions.

The special session of Azad Jammu and  Kashmir Legislative Assembly(AJKLA) was held here on Wednesday. The house also rejected the illicit  measures taken by India  for changing demography and human rights violations in Illegally Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir(IIOJK).

The resolutions were presented by the leader of the house and PM AJK Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan, leader of opposition Chaudhary Latif Akbar,  ex Prime Ministers AJK Sardar Abbdul Qayyum Khan Niazi, Raja Farooq Haider , Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan ,  President PPP AJK Chaudhary Muhammad Yasin, Parliamentary leader of PML(N) AJK Shah Ghulam Qadir and leader of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Party Sardar Hassan Ibrahim Khan.

The resolution tabled in the AJKLA said that  the changing of demography in Kashmir by issuing domiciles to non- residents allowing non Kashmiris to buy the property on large scale and making alteration in the constituencies through delimitation  by India in IIOJK are deplorable acts.

The house also rejected the illegitimate Indian action on 5th August 2019 , which ceased the special status of Kashmir after which 0.9 million Indian army present in Indian held Kashmir has changed the state into a large jail where the human rights violations are at the pinnacle.

The resolutions presented by the leaders of different political parties in the house asked the United Nations , world community and international human rights organizations to play their role for the right of self-determination of Kashmiris according to the UNO’s  resolutions.

“The house also condemned Indian political leadership and high brass of the army for their prejudiced statements , which are actually a threat to regional peace”, the resolutions read.

The house also criticized Indian security forces and police  for sheer human rights violations, extra judicial killings, so called search operations, destroying and the property of Kashmiris in the name of anti-encroachment drive, arrests on large scale and confiscating the offices of APHC in IIOJK.

The assembly also paid rich tributes to the people of Indian occupied Kashmir for their determination in the endeavor for the independence of Kashmir from Indian occupation.
