AJK govt should arrange charter flights for stranded Kashmiris: Turabi

MUZAFFARABAD: The incumbent government of PML-N in Azad Jammu and Kashmir should arrange charter flights for all the Kashmiris who are stranded in foreign countries, said the Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Abdul Rasheed Turabi here on Friday. He expressed this while addressing to the media persons in Muzaffarabd. He said that overseas Kashmiris are the back bone of the economy of the state. A number of them have lost their jobs in the foreign countries. They are facing worst situation in the current situation caused by the spread of coronavirus. Federal government as well as the AJK government should take decisive steps for the resolution of the issues being faced by the overseas Kashmiris. Government should ensure all the measures to take back the stranded Kashmiris, he added. He said that India is committed to change the demography of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). International community should take notice of Indian policies, he further said.
