ISLAMABAD: The sacrifices rendered on July 13, 1931 are the torchbearer for Kashmiris, said the member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi here on Sunday. He expressed this in his special message released from Islamabad on the eve of Kashmir Martyrs Day being observed today. July 13 is an historical day in the ongoing Kashmir Movement, he added.
He said that the brave masses of Kashmir provided foundation to Kashmir Movement by presenting the sacrifices of their lives at Central Jail Srinagar on July 13, 1931. Kashmir Movement is still continued and is being nurtured by the blood of Kashmiris continuously, he added.
Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi said that the government of the base camp of Kashmir Movement again assures the brave masses of IOK that they are not alone in their struggle for right to self determination. Government of liberated territory is firmly standing with the masses of IOK who are struggling for their inherited right to self determination, he added.
He urged the masses of Kashmir to ensure strong unity to move forward to get the goals of Kashmir Movement.
