MUZAFFARABAD: Lawyers should do justice with their profession if they want to earn good name, said the Chief Justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan here on Thursday. He expressed this while addressing a ceremony to hand over licenses to new lawyers in Muzaffarabad.

He said that a lawyer who maintains honesty and do justice with his profession is an asset of court. The respect of court depends upon the character of lawyers. A good lawyer is one who presents a detailed case so that the court can give decision on it after hearing. New lawyers should be the role models for others as they will replace the senior lawyers in future, he added.

Chief Justices asked the new lawyers to do hard work. There are good norms of advocacy in AJK. All the issues being faced by the lawyers will be resolved on priority basis, he added.

CJ congratulated the license holder lawyers at the occasion.
