KP Govt to celebrate Eid with simplicity: Ajmal Wazir

PESHAWAR: Advisor to chief minister khyber Pakhtunkhwa  on Information and public relation Ajmal Khan Wazir has expressed deep sorrow over the Karachi crash plane and said that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the entire provincial government are deeply saddened by this national tragedy.

Talking to media at the Civil Secretariat itlla cell ajmal Wazir said that due to corona and Karachi plan crash the eid will be celebrated very simply.  He said that  Eid will be celebrated with utmost simplicity in the memory of those who were martyred in the tragedy due to the plane crash.

“At the government level, no official gatherings will be held on the occasion of Eid, but we also appeal the  people to avoid unnecessary gatherings on this Eid and stay at home”  he added. He said that for the sake of you and your loved ones, be careful because this disease does not come home to anyone unless you go out and bring it home yourself.

Referring to corona help line number ajmal Wazir said that the provincial government has introduced helpline number 1700 for Corona on which more than one lakh calls have been received so far.  He said that through help line number medical assistance and advices of experts have been provided to people. Ajmal Wazir said the helpline had also provided guidance to the people involved in the field of handicrafts and registration of civil defense volunteers.

“Eid is a test case for people   If the SOPs on eid are not taken serious, then the government will compell to  tightened the situation again,the people should cooperate with the government in the struggle against corona, he added. Ajmal Wazir appealed  the people to refrain from aerial firing and prove that they are civilized citizens. Corona on the one hand and the plane crash on the other in such circumstances, firing on chand raat would be highly inappropriate. Ajmal wazir warned that law will be enacted against aerial firing and strict action will be taken.

He said chief minister Mehmood khan has issued clear directive to all concerns to take strict action against the culprits.
